Portrait of Daria
President and Founder
Daria Marchenko, President and Founder of Ecoist Club, is a photojournalist, digital artist, and holds a Master’s degree in Media Communication (2010 – University of Montreal). She has experience in artistic creation (producing advertising and documentary videos) and media project management (Director of Photography, Photo Editor) in Russia, France, Canada, and Hong Kong. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Photojournalism (2007 – Moscow State University) and a Bachelor’s degree in Film Production (2016 – Concordia University in Montreal). Since 2023, Daria has been conducting research on digital sobriety as part of her doctoral studies in marketing, which she began at HEC Montréal and has continued since 2025 at UQAM.
